Keep Calm and Move to Greece 🇬🇷!

Overlooking the Aegean Sea form Aegina

This was the year that we decided to spend time in Greece, my husbands country of origin. After 10 years in America he was missing home. In relationships like ours, one of use is always missing our country and he has missed his for far to long. So I took a leave of absence from my job, we put half our condo in storage, shipped the rest, made sure Lola, our pretty little kitty had all her pappers to travel, fixed up our condo, listed our condo, and left America. All in 5 weeks! Sounds insiane? Yes. Yes it was! It was a never ending list of logistics, price comparisons, and the packing. I realized that moveing is always harder then it looks no matter how organized you are. It was exhusting and stressful but we did it. We managed to get everything done so that we could go follow our dreams and live our lives.

After a 2 weeks of packing it took us till midnight to get everything labeled and packed securely for the movers. [/caption]

Ready to be shipped overseas via boat!

      • Well we are originally from Miami so everything is outrageously expensive. The first trip we took her to Greece was about 300 in total excluding airfare but that was because she needed so many vaccinations and the euro microchip plus the health certificate. The second time was 80$ at the vets, (because you need a new certificate every-time you fly) the one you have the certificate you need to go to the USDA for them to verify it (takes at least 24 hrs so do it before you fly) 30$ at the USDA, and then airfare.
